Gift with warranty from Roger son of Robert the Miller (molendinarii) of Coventr' to Sir Nicholas lord de Segrave of 2s.0 1/2 d. annual rent in Coventr' which the said Roger used to receive quarterly as follows:- from the tenement which Robert the Wheelwright (Rotarius) held in `magno vico parci' [Much Park Street] 12 pence; from the tenement which Nicholas at the Gate (ad Barram) held next the Gate in the same street 12 pence; and from the tenement which Peter de Egesfeld held in the lane which leads from Much Park Street to the Park next the curtilage of Richard de Westone, a halfpenny, payable annually at Easter. Witnesses: Peter le Bretun and Henry Baker (Pistore), bailiffs, Robert de Chiltone, William de Nayleston', coroner of Coventr', Richard de Weston', Adam Russel, John de Langeleya, Henry Ballard, John Payn and others. Dated at Coventr' in Much Park Street, Sunday next before the Feast of St. Michael, 20 Edward I. Tag, seal lost.
