Description

Indenture of Humphrey Conyngesbye of Vlnale conveying for 4 marks sterling to John Federstone and his heirs, a meadow in Pakwood lying between land of the Prior and convent of Couentre late in the tenure of William Bagbye on the south, land of John Gowper, clerk, called le Hyefelde on the north and east, and land of the said Prior and convent in the tenure of Thomas Symondes on the west, together with a road leading to the said meadow called Conyngesbye Fordrove.

Dated 24 April, 29 Henry VIII.

Seal of red wax, oval: a trefoil slipped.
