Description

Quitclaim from Richard Midnyht of Coventr' to Henry Baker (Pistori) of Coventre of an annual rent of 18 pence which he was accustomed to receive quarterly from the heirs of Ranulph de Franketon' in Coventre for a messuage which the said Henry holds between `vicum Westgardini' [Westgarden Street] and the land of John Tole and extending from the highway where iron is sold to the bakery of Robert de Chilton', and for this the said Henry grants to the said Richard one curtilage adjoining the road leading from Coventr' towards Radeforde, as testified by a charter of feoffment from the said Henry. Witnesses: Robert de Chilton', Walter Bacun, Thomas le Moubrai, John Tole, Walter de Banneburi, John Sampson, John de Macstoke, Henry de Hynkele, Roger de Alesleye, clerk, and many others. Tag and seal lost.
