Description

Quitclaim from Richard Fournes son of John Fournes late of Brynkelowe `tailour', to John Toton' abbot of Comba and the convent of the same place and their successors, of all his right and title which he has or might hereafter have in two headlands (foreras) in the fields of the town of Brynkelowe, of which one headland lies at the end of the culture called Innycheforlong' extending towards `Lee Commenbalk' and the other headland lies on a culture there called Carters between le Stonysyche and the land of John Howe; which two headlands the said Richard Fournes had amongst other lands by the gift and feoffment of Thomas Roggers of Asteley chaplain. Appointment of John Brewer the elder of Brynkelowe as attorney to deliver seisin to the said abbot and convent. Witnesses: Thomas Stokes, Thomas Dawson', John Newcome, William Lalleford, Thomas Mors and many others. Dated at Brynkelowe, 7 January, 13 Henry VII. Seal on tag: circular, red.
