Description

Quitclaim with warranty from Agnes de Barwe of Stivischale to Thomas de Merston' of all her right in one acre of arable land in the fields of Stivischal' which the said Thomas held by feoffment of the said Agnes for the term of his life; of which half an acre lies upon le Wythe between the land of Sir John de Langele and the land of William le Westerne and extending in length from the headland of Oldefeyld' as far as Carsewellesyche, and the other half an acre lies on this side of Shydherd' next to the land of the said Sir John and the land of Reginald Charmon, extending in length from Mererden' as far as le Couslade; to hold to the said Thomas and his heirs for ever of the chief lord of the fee. Witnesses: William le Westerne, John le Eyr, Thomas de Barwe, John de Fynham, Geoffrey de Wytele and others. Dated at Stivischal', 4 Ides of April 12 Edward II Tag, seal lost.
