Description

Lease with warranty from John lord of Segrave, knight, to Dom William de Stretton', chaplain, and John son of Juliana Hauwys of Kyngton' of a piece of land with buildings thereon called le Chefmes together with seven and a half acres of arable land with appurtenances in Styveschale which Henry le Couper' of Coventr' held of the grantor; also half an acre of land which William Pykerel held of Joylinus de Styveschale, one acre of land which Robert le Wodeward held of the same Joylinus, one acre of land which Alice once the wife of Geoffrey le Luf'held of the same, and a part of the meadow called le Heye which William le Westurne held of the same; to hold of the grantor for the lives of the said William and John, rendering annually one mark at the four usual terms in Styveschale, and suit of court twice a year. Witnesses: William de Aubeneye of Asthull', John de Fynham, Geoffrey de Whytelee, Geoffrey de Coundelme, William le Westurne and others.
