Charles Calvert Browning, Lincolns Inn Fields to "My dear Madam" [Hon. Mrs. Graves]: re purchase of commission/ promotion for son. Writer is willing to lend money but requires security, to be arranged with Mr. Mortimer: Refers to charges which Lord St. Vincent's solicitor has made against her and Mrs. Jones but which cannot commit to paper "from the extreme indelicacy of it". Refers to her two sons, one of whom is Jervis. [Mary Cassandra, second daughter of 10th Lord Saye and Sele m 1) Edward, 2nd Lord St. Vincent 1790 and was divorced 1798. She m 2) Richard Charles Head Graves. She was the sister of Julia Judith Leigh].
