Description

Lease from Arthur Gregory of Styvechale, esq., to John Gryffyn of Warr', fuller, for £13.16s. 4d., of all that messuage with appurtenances late in the tenure of Thomas Pype situate in Rabbe Croft under Kyngshull in the parish of Stonley with the corne mill, two walke mills, floodgates, tayntors, buildings, etc. thereunto belonging,together with a close called Bawdewyns Grove in Kyngeshull, and a close or pingle called Little Forwood and all profits of lop and shred of all the woods growing upon the brinks of the water of Armeley Heathe Syde from Wolsey Bridge to Porte Bridge with free fishing in the Poole and all profits of free fishing in the water from Wolsey Bridge to Porte Bridge and the commons appurtenant to the said messuage due according `to the rate of a mese place from Stonley towne to Crule feilde': to hold the same for 31 years, rendering annually 10 pounds, and paying a heriot of the best beast upon the decease of any tenant and with suit of Court at the Manor place of Kyngeshull otherwise Helinhull; and it is agreed that the said Arthur Gregory shall have one eyrie of swans yearly upon the pool without let or hindrance.
