Description
S[amuel] Butler to Rev. Mr. Morse, Ashow: believes, contrary to Mr. Morse's opinion, that Glebe lands are liable to levy for the expenses of the Constable or Church just as much as they are for the poor. A rector's responsibility for the repair of the chancel does not exempt him from Poor Rates.
