Letter from Edward Cooper, Hamstall Ridware, to James Leigh concerning his youngest daughter, Jane, who is entitled to a legacy under the will of Elizabeth Leigh; and asking that a woman and her daughter (the latter of whom has just given birth to an illegitimate child) be given notice to quit a cottage near the parsonage which had been used as a school for young children of the parish under the supervision of Cooper's daughters
