Description

Assignment by Ann Cookes and Elizabeth Cookes of Tanworth, co. Warwick, spinsters (grand-daughters of Henry Hunt the elder late of Tanworth, gent., deceased) at the request of John Knottesford of Bridgetown in the parish of Alveston, same county, esq., son and heir of Charles Knottesford late of Snitterfield and then of Studley, esq., deceased, to Robert Hunt of Feckenham co. Worcs., gent., nominal trustee of the said John Knottesford, reciting a mortgage dated 15 March 1715 from Charles Knottesford and Elizabeth his wife to Mary Yarnold of Alcester, spinster, and its subsequent assignment to Henry Hunt the elder, in consideration of £400 of the residue of a term of 1000 years in a wood called Whitlench in the parish of Studley.
