Archer miscellanea: Archer of Tanworth

Description

Very miscellaneous collection of documents, arranged in date order, the majority relating to members of the Archer family. The earliest are deeds, or copies of deeds relating to various estates, but the later include rentals for Kineton (1392) and Yardley (1415/16), a compotus roll for the Montfort estates (c. 1452/53), leaf from a missal, with two lines of music (15 supt; suph; century), contemporary notes of birth dates of members of the Archer family (1526-1536) and some official and personal papers.
