[Copy] letter from Privy Council to the Sheriff of Warwickshire and to the `rest of the Commissioners for the leviinge of the Aydes in that Countye' [to Knight Prince Henry] `The King is happy for values to be reached by composition of inquisition unless parties obdurate. Compositions to be gross sums for all a man's lands in the county regardless of tenure.
