Attested copy bond from John Hereford, Surton, Hereford, esq., to Andrew Archer, esq., and Henry Townsend, esq. for pound;300 to assure conveyance, within a year of the death of Margaret Hereford, mother of John, of lands to the clear yearly value of pound;40 as trustees to the use of John Hereford and Elizabeth his wife, for life with remainder to Elizabeth as jointure. Memo that original bond was delivered to Mrs Elizabeth Hereford, widow, by Andrew Archer, esq., on 16 June 1615
