Cheeke, Russell Tipping families: Archer of Tanworth
Description
Bundle comprising five scraps of paper. Three are notes about money, one a note of Francis Russell's bond to Mr. Thornburgh, and one a copy of a receipt from Lady Tipping to her Mother Lady Russell in which mention is made of Sir. Thomas Tipping, Edward Earl of Orford, Edward Cheeke, Oliver Marton and George Cherrett. Fastened together with a strip of paper on which is written in Lady Russell's hand; `feb:1712 this is ye a Count of my Clearing with kinsfords Law sut Chargess'.
