Description

Lady Dorchester's and Lady Russell's pensions. Copy of state of the two grants to Michaelmas 1716 inclusive. The terms of the grants are set out, with the various receipts from and deficiencies in the quitrents from 1692, receipts by Lady Dorchester and Lady Russell, and money still due to the latter in arrears. The whole solvent rent has been paid to agents or receivers, `but how that Money hath been paid over... does not fully appear to me'. Submitted by William Burgh, comptroller and accountant general. Endorsed: `The origanell of the papers was sent to Mr Powis'.
