Receipt from John Chambers, Warwick, baker, to John Archer, son and heir apparent of Sir Simon Archer for pound;10, part of a larger sum to be paid by John Archer for a meadow in Tanworth lately sold to him by William Chambers, brother of John, and lying in a meadow called Henfords abutted by a meadow belonging to Thomas Fields called Casswell Meadow and the lands of the said Sir Simon Archer. Signed and seal applied on paper tongue. Witnesses: Francis Grame, Walter Copper, Robert Walter.
