The collection BRR largely covers the period 1836-1974, reflecting Council reorganisation in 1974, following the Local Government Act 1972.
However, as a few (mainly civic) responsibilities passed from the Borough of Stratford-upon-Avon to Stratford Town Council, a small number of records (including this roll) have continued to be used and are retained in this Collection, to maintain both the functional and administrative integrity of the records.
