Turner's Charity

Description

Gift from John Turner of Atherstone, gent., to Henry Willson yeoman, Daniel Baker, woollendraper, John Smith, ironmonger, and William Wyatt, yeoman, all of Stratford-upon-Avon, of a tenement in Wood Street in the tenure of Laurence Homes and another in Henley Street in the tenure of Oliver Hollons; to hold to the use of John Turner for life, and, after his death, to the uses specified in the annexed particulars, viz. in trust to collect rents thereof and to distribute the same in bread to the poor inhabitants of the borough.
