Lease and release: Bancroft close in Leamington Priors

Conveyance by lease and release from William Greenwood of Warwick, DD, to Robert Lawrence of Leamington Priors, gentleman, for £40, of a close of pasture in Leamington Priors called Bancroft, late in the tenure of John Corpson, gentleman, deceased, since of William Taylor, gentleman, also deceased, and now of the said Robert Lawrence, adjoining a close of the said Robert Lawrence on the west side; which close was lately purchased by the said William Greenwood, amongst other things, from John Taylor, gentleman, son and heir of the said William Taylor and Martha Taylor his widow, one of the daughters and co-heiresses of the said John Corpson, Leonard Piddock and Edward Conduit, gentleman.
