Description

License from Richard Beard of Endsleigh Street, in the parish of St Pancras co. Middx., to Joseph Whitlock of Olney, co. Bucks., for £200, to make, use, and sell two inventions patented under the names of `A new and improved method of obtaining the spontaneous reproduction of all the images received in the focus of the Camera Obscura' (14 August 1839) and `An invention of improvements in apparatus for taking or obtaining likenesses and representations of nature and of drawings and other objects' (13 June 1840).
