Volume III (ff. 159) `Miscellanies connected with the sale of the Birthplace of Shakespeare', 1847, consisting chiefly of engravings, printed cuttings, circulars, etc. with a few letters and Ms matter interspersed. Included are: - a `sketch from the sale of Shakespeare's House' 16 September 1847, from The Illustrated London News with the various persons identified in MS (f. 73); - a letter from W.C. Macready to [S.C.] Hall (f. 129)
