Lease with warranty from the Abbot and Convent of Stonl' to Richard Mercenarius of Kynillewort of a piece of ground (placeam) at Swetebrugge enclosed under the park of Asthul which they had from master Thomas de Canele; to hold to the said Richard and Agnes his wife and Robert their eldest son for their lives at an annual rent of 18 pence. Dated on the octave of Christmas 1278. Witnesses: Robert de Canele, William Persun, Richard de Daddele, Roger Gopyl, Simon of Wabburle and many others. Seal on tag: white fragment only.
