Quitclaim from John le Portere of Coventre to William Galeys of all his right in a shop lying in `vico comitis' [Earl Street] in Coventre near the door of the hall of the said William and also in a house, within the close of the said William there called le Wollehous. Witnesses: Jordan de Shepeye, Thomas de Toltham, John le Warde, Roger le Gray, Nicholas Percy, William Horn and others. Dated at Coventre, Sunday next after the feast of St. Mark the Evangelist, 15 Edward III. Seal on tag: circular, dark brown, broken, indecipherable. Endorsed: Wolhous in vico comitis.
