Description

Left hand indenture of a fine levied in the Court of the liberty of Coventre on Monday in the morrow of the close of Easter, 33 Edward III in the presence of Henry Clerk', mayor and Sewall de Bulkynton' and Robert de Whatton', bailiffs of the city, between John Bellevill' of Coventre and Isolda his wife, plaintiffs, and Henry Flouter of Coventre and Marjory his wife, deforciants, of a messuage in Coventre, concerning which a plea had been heard in the king's court at Westminster, in Easter Term 32 Edward III [1358] at which the mayor and bailiffs of Coventre had sought and obtained their court. The said Henry and Marjory recognize the said messuage to be the right of the said John and Isolda as by their gift.
