Description

Quitclaim from Richard son of William Toke to Vincent Thoke of all his right title and claim to all that land which he inherited from the lady Rose formerly wife of Robert de Paylinton in Covintr' in `vico fontis' [Well Street], lying between the land which Hugh son of Nicholas Wole held and the land which William Lewin held; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee rendering annually 13 pence (4 terms) and two capons at Christmas; and for this the said Vincent gives 6 shillings of silver. Witnesses: Robert de Cornl', Robert de Felgers, Richard de Fonte, John Simon', William Toli, Mathew Mubrey, Alexander de Rutun, John Aleyn, Richard the tanner (tannatore), William son of William Palmar', John de Dunstapel' and others.
