Description

Gift with warranty from Nicholas de Stivechale in Coventr' glover (cyrotecarius) to Richard de Norton `le Tippere' of a messuage in `vico Cocy' [Cook Street] in Coventr' lying in breadth between the land which John Portman held and the land of Robert le Typpere and extending in length from the said street to the land which Hawisia de Wymplestere formerly held; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee; and for this the said Richard gives 18 shillings of silver. Witnesses: Henry Baker (Pistore), bailiff of Coventr', William le Parker, coroner, John Thole, Thomas le Mcubray, John Pyhod, Robert Kelle, John son of Nicholas, John Portman, William de Cornleye and others.
