Description

Right hand indenture of a fine levied in the court of the liberty of Coventre on Tuesday next before Michaelmas 8 Henry VI, before Lawrence Cook mayor, John Clerk and John Everdon' bailiffs and others, between William Prat, deyster, Richard Corbrond' chaplain and Giles Corbrond' plaintiffs, and Hugh Rugeley and Alice his wife, deforciants, of a messuage with appurtenances in Coventre, concerning which there had been a plea in the court of Westminster in Trinity term last. The said Hugh and Alice recognized the said property to be the right of the said William,Roger and Giles as by their gift, and for this the latter give 20 pounds. Endorsed: i) Hu.
