Gift with warranty from John Houdesone of Stivechale to Thomas de Whisshawe of Coventr', butcher, of half an acre of arable land with appurtenances lying in the field of Stivechale in Wodecoueslade between the land of John de Longeleye on both sides and extending to the furlong called Carsewelleforlong'; to hold of the chief lord of the fee for ever. Witnesses: Geoffrey de Whiteleye, Thomas de Barewe, Roger le Heyr, Alexander de Schirford' and others. Dated at Stivechale, Friday next after the feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Mary, 8 Edward III. Seal on tag; circular, red. A pair of crossed gauntlets within an interlaced circular border.
