Description

Gift with warranty from Ralph son of Hugh de Stywighal' to Joylinus de Stywighal' of one acre of land and one rood in the field of Stywighal'; namely, half an acre lying in le Parkeforlong next to the land which Sir Walter de Langeleye once held on the one hand and the land of John de Barrwe on the other; half an acre lying next to the land of John de Barrwe on the other; half an acre lying next to the land of John de Barrwe on the one hand and land of the said John on the other and extending into Meresdenesyche; and one rood lying next to the land of Adam de Weston' on the one hand and the land of Hugh Champpeyn on the other, and extending to Parcumforlong' and to the highway; to hold of the said Ralph rendering annually one clove of gilly flower at Christmas; and for this the said Joylinus gives 20 shillings. Witnesses: Ranulph de Wytele, John de Barrwe, Robert le Woddeward, Adam Mile of Wytele, Hugh the clerk and others. Seal on tag; oval, white, incomplete. A radiated 8-foil.
