Description

1. The Guardians of the Poor of Stratford on Avon Union, the churchwardens and the overseers of the poor of the parish of Old Stratford 2. the vicar and churchwardens of Stratford-upon-Avon. 1 to 2 all that piece or parcel of land or ground containing 446 square yards in the parish of Old Stratford now in the occupation of the Trustees of the Boys' National School being part and parcel of land awarded in 1775 to the churchwardens of the parish church. For the use as a site for a School for Poor Persons of and in the borough of Stratford-upon-Avon and the parish of Old Stratford/National School and for the residence of the schoolmaster and schoolmistress or other teacher or teachers of the said school or for the other purposes of the said school and to be managed by the vicar, churchwardens, and other elected members (named). With colour plan of property, 13 Mar 1846. Enrolled in Chancery 19 May 1846. Memorandum regarding transfer of land in fee simple from the Coventry Diocesan Board of Finance Limited to McCarthy and Stone (Developments) Limited, 2 Jun 1988, stapled to outside of deed
