Letter, dated at Christ's College, Cambridge, from A. Wall to Arthur Gregory, stating that the College remains convinced that the pieces of land in question were not exchanged at the time of the Inclosure but remain their property. Their claim is based on an examination of John Sly of Stichall, taken on 2 September 1741, who was said to remember the whereabouts of houses, since demolished by Loveisgod Gregory, which belonged to the College, and they also cite letters of 4 January 1745/6 and 19 June 1746 between Dr. Rooke and Arthur Gregory, to substantiate their claim. Endorsed: Major Gregory, Warwick Militia, Lincoln. Red seal applied.
