Description
Draft affidavit of John Reginald Lane, Stratford-upon-Avon, law clerk, as to death (7 April 1860) and burial at Bishopton (11 April 1860) of James Smith, maltster, one of the executors of the will of James Clarke, Shottery, farmer, who died 17 January 1859. The surviving executor is Edward Gibbs, Stratford-upon-Avon, architect. Made in Woodward v. Woodward in Chancery.
