Description

Agreement between John Clerk' of Coventr', hosier, and John Spycer' of Warrewyk', reciting an indenture of even date whereby the said John Clerk' demised to the said John Spycer' a piece of land, a dovecote, an orchard, and a garden in Styvechall' with free entrance and exit from this place to the church of Styvechall', together with a [virgate of land] and a virgate of meadow in the vill and fields of Styvechall', to hold from the feast of the Annunciation next for a term of 10 years; now the said John Clerk' undertakes to carry out all repairs to the said property at his own expense and to pay all the rents due annually on the said property; and the said John Spycer' agrees not to make any waste on the said property during the said term.
