Description

Lease with warranty from Ranulph de Stivechal, with the consent of Robert de Wallechot', to William Fornario of Coventr' and William de Schentun of the chief mill of Stiwechal with all appurtenances and easements belonging to the same, from Lady Day, 52 Henry son of John [25 March, 1258] for a term of three years; to hold of the said Ranulph for the said term, paying annually 3 marks (four terms); and at each term to pay half a mark to the said Robert and 40 pence to the said Ranulph, and to hold the same saving the toll from the corn of the said Ranulph; and the said mill to revert to the said Ranulph at the end of the term in the same condition as it now is. Witnesses: Thomas Pawy, William de Schentun, Richard Barrcher, Geoffrey Forner, William de Franchuntun and many others. Tag, seal lost.
