Description

Quitclaim from Robert de Caneleye to Richard de Daddeleye of all his right in a croft lying in the territory of Canele called Leyecroft with the ditches adjacent, rendering annually to the chief lord of that fee, namely the Abbot and Convent of Stonleye, 7 1/2 pence (4 terms); with the further quitclaim of all his right in another croft with meadow adjoining called Longecroft. Witnesses: Henry Rachel, Jordan de Flichamstude, William Michel, Geoffrey de Crulefeld', John de la Sale, Henry de le More, William Persone and many others. Seal on tag: circular, green. A crescent.
