Description

Gift with warranty from Alice, once the wife of William le Westerne of Stivichale, widow, to Thomas de Merstone of Stivichale, Joan his wife and John their son of a tenement with garden and appurtenances called le Overhallested' in Stivichale, together with a road between two earthen walls leading from the said garden to the chapel of Stivichale; to hold to the said Thomas, Joan and John and their heirs of the chief lord of the fee for due and customary service and paying to the said Alice annually 3 shillings at the four usual terms in Stivichale. Witnesses: Geoffrey de Witel', William des Okes, Thomas de Barewe, John de Finham, John Champion, clerk and others. Dated at Stivichale, Monday on the feast of St. Katherine, 19 Edward II.
