Description

Lease from William Neele of Stichall, surgeon, to William Bisaks of Coventr', corvisor, of a messuage and appurtenances in Stichall late in the tenure of William Joynor; to hold the same from Michaelmas last for a term of 20 years, rendering annually 20 shillings (2 terms) and heriot according to the custom of the manor, and also 10 shillings when Mr. John Ferrers, lord of the premises, is required to furnish men for war; and the said William Bisaks to maintain the premises during the said term at his own expense and to be subject to all orders of the lessor concerning the ordering of the fields; and he may lop all the trees growing on the said premises at seasonable times and use the wood for his own purposes.
