large poster advertising the sale, by Mr [George] Robins, of Shakespeare's Birthplace and the Swan and Maidenhead public house adjoining, Thursday, 16th September 1847. This was probably the item listed as no. 2 in the Catalogue of the Books, Manuscripts ... exhibited in Shakespeare's Birthplace, 1944, presented to the Trust in 1922 by W. Butcher, Bromley, Kent.
