Description

Gift with warranty from Joan Skotte of Coventr', widow, daughter and heiress of Robert Lyrpoll', senior, sometime wife of William Dey late of Coventr', alias William Dey late of Styvechale, deceased, to Master William Hudson' of Coventr' and Ralph Wode of the same, chaplain, of all her lands, tenements, rents, etc. in the vill and fields of Styvechale, all of which lately belonged to the said William Dey and which the said William had given to the said Robert Lyrpoll' and others to the use of the grantor; to hold the same for ever of the chief lord of the fee. Appointment of John Thornale of Styvechale as attorney to deliver seisin. Witnesses: Nicholas Adcok' of Styvechale, Thomas Locok of the same, John Smyth' of the same and others. Dated at Styvechale, 28 January, 15 Edward IV Seal on tag; oval, red. The letter S within a horseshoe.
