Kingshill in Stoneleigh deeds and papers

Description

Licence of alienation to Leonard Chamberlane, esq., and Richard Andrewes, gent., for 16 shillings, to grant to Thomas Gregorye, Hullynghull graunge with appurtenances in Kyngeshull in the parish of Stoneley, late belonging to the monastery of Stoneley, now dissolved and now in the tenure of Richard Hill and John Hill; all which premises the said Leonard and Richard were recently granted by letters patent of Henry VIII. Dated: 8 July, 34 Henry VIII. On tag, great seal, incomplete. Endorsed: A licence from King Henerey y supe; 8 to alien Helenhull Grange [LG]
