Description

Lease with warranty from the Abbot and Convent of Stonle to Richard Forthwyne of Kinggeshull', of a messuage with a curtilage adjacent in Kynggeshull' which William le Fauken', late of the same place, held; to hold the same for life, rendering annually 2 shillings and doing the great boon-service of Stonle in each year according to the custom of the manor, and paying a heriot on his death; and the said Richard is to maintain the property at his own cost. Witnesses: Alexander de Crulefeld', John son of Henry de Kynggeshulle, Geoffrey de Ballescot' of the same place and others. Seal on tag: a pointed oval, white. A pelican in her piety.
