Description

Bond from Simon Yeate of Rabbecrofte below Kingeshull, yeoman, to Thomas Greswolde of Kenellworthe, miller, in the penal sum of 30 pounds, to secure peaceable possession of a messuage, certain closes called Rabbecroftes and three water mills in Stonley, leased to the said Simon Yeate by Arthur Gregorye, esq., by indenture dated 29 September 25 Elizabeth [nos. 1005-6] for 21 years, rendering annually 10 pounds, and the best beast as a heriot, with suit of court yearly at the manor of Kingeshull, alias Hallinhull; and which lease was assigned by the said Simon Yeate to the said Thomas Greswolde on 6 July 1594, for the residue of the said term.
