Description

Lease and release, the release being an assignment from Charles Yardley of Stivichall, clerk, and Katherine his wife, to Thomas Smith of Knowll, gent., of a mortgage, recited, dated 15 May, 3 William and Mary [nos. 893, 894] from Isaac Hale and Margaret his wife to Katherine Gregory, now wife of the said Charles, for 300 pounds, of the property described in nos. 893, 894. Signed: Charles Yardley, Ka. Yardley, Thomas Smith. i) two bars in chief a lion passant ii) on a fess three ? between six estoiles iii) seven mascules conjoined iv) a cross fleury; the whole surmounted by a lion statant.
