Description

Gift with warranty from Thomas Chaplen' of Stichall to Richard Hill, John Barow, senior, John Barowe, junior, John Sewall' and Robert Asheby, of one Croft of land called le Kingeswood lying in the lordship of Stoneley, which the said Thomas Chaplen, together with William Forester, chaplain, Robert Topliff, John Wyllynhall', gents., John Hicok, John Thornall', Roger Hixson, John Thornall and Henry Hixson now deceased, formerly held jointly in fee by the gift of Elias Ribchester, clerk, rector of the parish church of Bathyngton and Thomas Serse, clerk; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee.
