Description

Lease from Arthur Gregorie, esq., lord of Stychall, to Edward Bowyer of Coventrie, mercer, of two messuages with all the houses, barns, buildings, orchards, and other appurtenances belonging thereto; also two yard lands of arable land and meadow in the lordship lying in Churche feilde, Parke Feilde and Neither feilde and in the meadows of Stychall, now in the tenure of Robert Bennette and Henry Brunte; to hold the same for 21 years from Michaelmas 1595, rendering annually 43s. 4d., and rendering suit of court, and also performing the office of bailiff in the lands of the said Arthur in the counties of Warwick and Coventry, at an annual wage of 20 shillings; and the said Edward to maintain the said messuage in the occupation of Robert Bennett at his own cost, towards the expense of which the said Arthur grants that the said Edward may pull down the tenement in the occupation of the said Henry Brunte.
