Description

Gift with warranty from Robert Osbern of Hulle in the parish of Stonleye to William Dalyan of Helenhul, of three half acres of land in the fields of Hulle, viz. half an acre lying on a furlong called le Brech, between the land of the abbot of Stonleye and the land of Richard Forthwyne; half an acre lying on le Wodefeld in a furlong called le Ruyecroft between land which Alan de Hulle once held and land which Geoffrey de Balscote held, and extending in length from Caldewelle to Wodeyate; and half an acre on le Brocfeld at le Butteschuyrne lying between land of Roger de Fynham and land of Richard Helys, and extending in length from Lowe to Brocfurlong; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee; and for this the said William gives 20 shillings. Witnesses: Alexander de Cruylefeld, Henry de la More of Canneleye, Roger his son, Richard de Daddeleye, William Person, Thomas de Fynham, John Henri of Hulle, Geoffrey de Balscote of the same, Henry Aleyn of the same and others Dated at Hulle on the Feast of St. Ambrose, 23 Edward I.
