Indentures of lease and release, the release dated 31 July 1795, being a mortgage by Henry Roberts of Stratford-upon-Avon, baker, to Benjamin Smith the younger of Hampton Lucy, yeoman, of the premises described in ER60/4 and referred to in ER60/6 to secure the repayment of £200. Signed: Henry Roberts Seal of red wax. Witnesses: Robert Wheler and John Bridges Endorsed with a receipt dated 17 September 1800 for all interest due upon this and the further charge (see ER60/9) and for £50. Signed: Benj. Smith Lease dated 30 July 1795 between same parties of same premises for one year. Signed sealed and witnessed as before.
