Description

Quitclaim from Margery de Ballescote, in her widowhood, to the Abbot and Convent of Stanl', of two selions of ancient demesne of arable land which she used to hold lying dispersedly in the field of Hulle on the furlong called Le Heye, of which one selion lies near the hedge next the highway leading from Symondesbrugge towards Kyngeshulle on one side and the land of the Abbot and Convent of Stanle on the other, and the other between the land of the said Abbot and Convent on both sides; and both selions abut upon the headland of the said Abbot and Convent. Witnesses: Thomas Boydin, Henry de Hockele, Alexander de Crulefeld', John de Shokkeberge, Robert Le Heyr and others. Seal on tag: circular, red. Four sprays of foliage in the form of a cross.
