Copy of a court roll, recording that, at the court held at Helynhull on 10 April, 10 Elizabeth, John Dorrington received from the lord one messuage with croft adjacent and three virgates of land with appurtenances in Hull' in the tenure of John Nycolls and Thomas Vale; to hold for 21 years from the feast of St. Michael next at the will of the Lord of the Manor and according to the custom of the Manor, rendering annually 50 shillings, and a heriot when due; and the said John, having performed fealty, was admitted as a tenant of the manor.
